Good news/bad news

The good news is that he's not broken any bones but has damaged the soft tissue around his ankle.

This means that he'll be out for weeks rather than months.

The bad news is that he's more than likely to miss the Anfield derby a week on Saturday.

And we could really do with him ripping them apart the way he did in September.

But at least we've got a free weekend this weekend to give the little gunslinger every chance to make a recovery before the February 3rd high noon showdown.

The other good news is that the bad and completely unnecessary wild west analogies end there!
