First off, and this is pretty old news now, or it seems it the way everything's going all panic room on Sky Sports News, Alan Stubbs has signed for Derby on an 18-month deal.
I was bemused by this bit of business, given our lack of bodies in the squad for the Spurs match but it's all become a bit more apparent now why we've got rid of Stubbs.
As Moyes has brought in Tottenham centre half Anthony Garnder on loan until the end of the season.
The 27-year-old defender has made just four times this season and has netted one goal, against Everton during August's 3-1 win at White Hart Lane.
It's a welcome addition to the Blues' squad, as we need more players of his stature, he always looks massive on the pitch, and a 36-year-old out and a 27-year-old in certainly makes sense.
I'm sure everyone wishes Stubbsy well at Derby...and who's gonna look after the message board now?!
In other transfer news, it looks likely that Anderson Da Silva could be given a permanent move to Barnsley before the window shuts.
Which kind of makes you wonder why we went to all that trouble to sign him in the first place!
