3 and easy for Watson

Well, well, well, what a super Sunday that was, the Sky Sports crew must have wished they had Opted for Goodison rather than the City of Manchester stadium for their live match!

What a result, what a performance, what a way to get over a hangover, steady with the Vodka Wilma! After scoring three on the Wednesday, the Blues went one better on Sunday With a superb display against Peter Reid's Leeds. I could not believe what I was seeing.

I was watching the live Sky match and between them and Andrew texting me it was incredible. I thought when I heard the team that Moysie was really going for it and it seems that big Dunc and young James can do no wrong at the moment. We could even afford to leave young Wayne on the bench.

When I read that Moysie was unhappy with Steve Watson’s performance's so far this season and then he does this my headline was going to be "Wat-to do better" but I decided against it. I was really happy that the boss gave rave reviews to Scottish pair Duncan Ferguson and James McFadden. We all know how good a player big Dunc has been in the past for the club but because of injuries he has had a bad time of late and there was even talk of a move to Ipswich, I personally Think that this was the kick up the backside that big Dunc needed, and the fact of course is that he is now clear of injury, touch wood!
On the other hand young James is a player that I know will, indeed already has endeared himself to the Everton support with his great play on the left side. After Sunday's performance the Manager likened him to the late great Glasgow Rangers and Scotland winger Davie Cooper and that is some compliment! Coop was a real star and any one who saw him play for Rangers and Scotland would tell you the same.

It has been a good week for Everton with the win over Leeds and Carling Cup win over Stockport thus setting up a very interesting home tie with Charlton in the next round. I hope that this is just the start of bigger and better things at Goodison Park and these good results along with the return of Kevin Campbell and Li Tie will keep a smile on our faces for a wee while longer! Come On You Blues !!!
