At the moment the words Everton and crisis seem to go hand in hand with every story that Is appearing about the Blues being negative ones, so where would one start ?

How about the Good news first, is there any I hear you cry? Well yes if you would all Join with me in congratulating our Everton old boys who on Sunday captured the Northern Masters after beating Manchester City on penalties after the final ended 1-1,and big Nev Was in superb form both in goals and in the sin bin,he has not lost any of his sense Of humour! The other piece of good news is that we have signed Marcus Bent from Ipswich For £450,000,yes a player who actually does want to play for Everton!

You can tell by his comments that Marcus is really excited to be at Everton and I hope that he has a great career at Everton scoring loads of goals, all of course dedicated to Mr Radzinski! He now will be plying his trade at our friends from London,Fulham, thanks for all your goals Tommy but I hope that you have not saved your best for matches against us ! Another new arrival is mid-fielder from Millwall,Tim Cahill.

I am delighted Tim has signed Any time that I have seen Tim play for Millwall I have been impressed, his goal helped Millwall get to the FA Cup Final v Manchester United and his general play made other teams Sit up and take notice,so best of luck Tim and Marcus hope you both are part of a successful Everton team. Now that is all the good news out of the way let's get stuck into all that is wrong with Everton Football Club ! The over the past few weeks since the end of Euro 2004 we have had to put up with Rooney mania of the highest order, from the £50,000 per week contract offered by Everton To is he staying or going debates ? His dealings with the Sun, to things that are happening in his private life, some of which we don't need to hear about,he is still only 18!

Wayne Rooney is now a sports reporters dream. With nothing to fill the pages 'till the Pre-season or the new season starts, young Wayne has been shot into the public eye and If you had not heard of Wayne before well you certainly have now! I just hope that whatever happens is best for him and Everton Football Club, this saga has gone on for far too long Now lets hope for an end to this soap opera once and for all. It seems that this summer Everton have not had their troubles to seek apart from the Wayne Rooney saga,we've had a Chief Executive,Trevor Birch, quit after only six weeks at the club, A Director,Arthur Abercrombie, quit after 10 years at the club and constant rumours surrounding Chairman Bill Kenwright and David Moyes futures with Phil Scolari, according To paper reports being linked to replace the Boss ! My opinion for what it is worth, Is I think it is a disgrace the way this club has been allowed to fall from grace and Washing their dirty washing in public with the in fighting between Paul Gregg and Bill Kenwright in the power struggle for Everton Football Club!

Everyone should be behind both the Chairman and the Manager in their times of troubles and together we will pull this Club out of the mire.David Moyes had a great first year at the club when he arrived but Was unlucky last year with injuries and players not giving a toss but if we stick with him and Bill I am sure that they will bring the good times back to Goodison !It was good To see that after the Raz rant all the players got behind David Moyes, the rest of us should Do the same. Other Everton News 1)Keith Wyness,c.e.Aberdeen,has been linked to a move to Everton, nothing further to report 2)Liverpool have knocked back our ground share proposal, who needs them anyway ! 3)Best wishes to Franny Jeffers,Paul Gerrard,Steve Simonsen and David Unsworth at their New clubs, thanks for all your efforts over the years at Goodison ! Best Wishes to David Moyes and all at Everton for season 2004/05!
