Heads we lose

Last updated : 14 November 2003 By Sean Graham
After the first half that Nightmare at Ewood Park the team have now slipped to yet another defeat! The showing in the second half was more like to Everton we are use to seeing But still it was not enough, the team still lost 2-1 and now have slipped into the bottom Three and now face a massive match against Wolves at Goodison after the International Week that they must win ! After watching the Blackburn match and listening to Moysie's interview, you get the feeling That some strong words were exchanged in the dressing room and the players will be itching To prove themselves to their Manager and the loyal support and I for one believe they can And will win the match!
I was talking to my Dad afterwards and even though he likes Blackburn he admitted that Everton should have taken something from the game ,I was just Sick they didn't ! It is very hard to take knowing that they gave their all for 45 minutes Of the match, why couldn't they have done this ? Where Blackburn that good? Or was it as Walter Smith said too many Everton players getting sucked towards the ball leaving the Blackburn players with free headers? Indeed it was a tale of three headed goals in the Match, hence Heads we lose, clever that!
I felt sorry for the lads who had went to the match, having to be subjected to a 45 minutes Or even a 20 minutes spell that condemned us to defeat. Hearing your own support booing You off cannot be nice but this Blackburn team had not won in their last five matches What a time for them to change that. Now we can forget about the Ewood match and look Forward seeing James McFadden taking on the Dutch on Saturday I will be one of the lucky Ones at Hampden, thanks to Tommy B, cheers mate!

I cannot wait for this battle and maybe To see young James and Gary take Scotland one step closer to Portugal 2004,heres hoping ! What about Scott Gemmill doing an Archie on Saturday? Matter of fact what is Archie doing These days?

Looking forward to meeting up with my mate Tommy and having a talk about All things Scotland and Everton. Before I sign off I would like to say thanks to Andy for my constant Everton progs and Evertonians which I can't do without! And also we get everywhere, I was in Kilmarnock a couple of weeks ago celebrating with My cousin Scott as his wife Alison gave birth to their first daughter, Emily Jade, and sitting in the Howard Arms with Ann, Gillian and all the guys from the pub, who were Great and in amongst them was a guy called Hughie who was an Evertonian!

This was great We chatted for ages about the Toffeemen and they wanted to know all about these Everton WebPages, so if we get more hits than usual we can thank the guys in the Howard Arms for that!
Come On Scotland and Wales on Saturday and to Peter Reid get a season ticket for Goodison, you are a hero there mate and would be treated like one !
