Nigel makes a point

Everton left Anfield with a much needed point with huge thanks to 37 year old Nigel Martyn, The big keeper was simply outstanding! Keeping Liverpool at bay time and time again in Particular Steven Gerrard,s ome of the saves were simply breath taking and insured that the Blues would leave with at least a point, which in my view was well deserved. Everton had been under pressure for most of the match but they too had their chances with Alan Stubbs coming close on a couple of occasions bring the best out of Dudek in the home Goal. Indeed both Stubbsy and Nigel Martyn were outstanding in this Everton team today and The team as a whole brought some much needed pride back to the club after a mixed week With the club hitting the back pages for the wrong reasons after the Cup match with Fulham And in particular big Dunc and Boa Morte. I cannot go into the incident as I don't want to end up in court, I don't have any money to give to either player ! We have read both players accounts of what happened in the papers so hopefully it will all be sorted out by the time We go to play Fulham in the replay and their will be no more bad blood between the clubs But I don't think we have heard the last of this and I fear that all the claming down tactics Being deployed by both Managers in trying to defuse the situation may be in vain but I hope not!

Everton need a result in this match as Fulham have just come off the back of a great Result against Spurs with ex-Everton man Brian McBride netting the winner for the home side And costing me money into the bargin, another SG v Bookies hard luck story here I am afraid, I was waiting for Fulham for my 4 draws having seen Birmingham, Portsmouth, Coventry all come in So you can see why I am slightly unhappy...indeed I had Man Utd to win 4-2 also and I have just seen Wes Brown's miss...I also had Louis Saha for the first goal ....at least Tracey won The lottery...well a tenner!
