JJB have cut the price of adult Everton shirts to just £14.99 and children's shirts to £12.99 so now is as good a time as any to update your shirt collection...what do you mean you've already been down there and boxed everyone's Christmas presents off?!

And, in a vain attempt to flesh this out into some sort of credible atricle, here's the press release from the good people at JJB...

Leading sports retailer JJB Sports is slashing the price of its Everton shirts by two thirds.

In recognition of the credit crunch and the fact that Christmas is fast approaching, the chain, which became Everton's official retail partner at the start of the 2006/07 season, has reduced men's shirts to £14.99 and children's shirts to £12.99 - giving consumers a saving of £30 per shirt.

The move should appeal to the thousands of Everton fans who purchase their clothing at JJB Sports high street outlets and within the Goodison Park Everton store and comes at a welcome moment - just a few months ago it was revealed that the cost of being a football fan has risen by 21 per cent*, thanks to rising ticket, travel and replica shirt costs.

"This will ensure that Everton fans are guaranteed great value on their replica shirts," comments Chris Ronnie, CEO of JJB Sports. "Our main aim is always to supply high quality, branded sports and leisure products to our customers at competitive prices, especially in such a challenging economic climate. We at JJB are constantly focused on supporting our customers and this is a timely gesture that proves the fact."
