Chelsea Preview

Bent has scored in his last 3 games
Everton travel to Chelsea this weekend for a game that has not brought us much good luck in previous years. Everton haven't won at The Bridge since 1994, although we have drawn several games there.

Chelsea have lost just once this season, and we have only been defeated twice, so expect a tight game. Everton and Chelsea are also the top 2 in the current Premiership form table.

I asked Rich Godden, Editor of Chelsea Mad to provide his take on the game.

Richard, do you think Chelsea can win the title this year?

I believe that Chelsea have a great chance of winning the league this
season, mainly due to the strength in depth of our squad. But with the
players we have got, I think that we have actually got more chance of
winning the Champions League than the Premiership!

Are you a fan of the way Mourinho has Chelsea playing?

If you'd asked me that question a month ago, I would have answered "yes,
Watson will be in for the suspended Carsley

apart from our play in the final third." Now the answer is emphatically yes!
We are playing some awesome football and there is now an end product to the
play! But the most pleasing aspect about our current play is our awesome
defence. Teams just don't look like scoring against us!

Who are your key players expected to be?

Key players will be Damien Duff and Arjen Robben. If they click, your
defence is in for a torrid time on Saturday. Robben has come in for our last
couple of matches after being injured prior to that, but it looks like he
has been here all his life! With these two playing, it's hard to envisage a
repeat of the 0-0 bore fest we had at the Bridge last season!
