Ball's injury holds back Everton's finances.

Basically Everton sold Ball for just over £6m to Rangers. £3m was paid up front whilst the rest was dependant upon apperances, of which there have been but a handfull. Ball has played only 11 games for the Glasgow club and they have now frozen all payments to Everton until he recovers his fitness.

Ball is still injured and is due to have another operation in the next few weeks.
