Brilliant!

A knee injury may force Andy Johnson to miss tomorrow night's match against Tottenham.

The Blues' top scorer twisted his knee in training and, while it is not thought to be serious enough to keep him out for any length of time, he may not be fit enough to face Spurs.

It's no exaggeration to say that it will be a bit of a disaster if Johnson can't play tomorrow night as Everton are already without Tim Cahill after he picked up his fifth booking of the season during the win against Blackburn.

In addition, most of our full backs are missing as Nuno 'won't go' Valente is out with a calf strain, Tony 'no knees' Hibbert is still absent due to that knee injury and, you'd better sit down for this one, Alessandro 'cheese strings' Pistone has also been ruled out.

It's his hamstrings this time apparently.

And, after his recent little outburst, it's good to see that Andy van der Meyde looks like he's finally going to grab his chance at regular first football with both hands.

Oh, sorry, no he's not, he'll also miss the game with what has been described as a 'muscle injury'.

Quite!

On the plus side Leon Osman is back after suspension…so everything should be alright after all!
