Cahill signs for Everton

As reported here yesterday, Tim Cahill has signed a 4 year deal with Everton for an "undisclosed fee". £2m then, in some sort of structure.

Cahill is a goal scoring midfielder, he netted 17 times for Milwall last year, so he is just the sort of player we need. The transfer was funded by the sale of Thomas Radzinski to Fulham.

"First of all, I'd like to thank everyone who has played a part in this move," he told evertonfc.com. "It's an absolute dream for me. The manager and the Chairman have been fantastic. They've told me about their ambitions, and their visions for the club match my own. I desperately wanted to come to Everton and to improve myself and the club, but most of all it's an absolute dream come true. "

Hopefully Tommy G will stay and we can have some sort of midfield partnership.
