Corporate sponsorship gone mad.

It appears that our new sponsorship deal with Chinese company Kejian lead to the confusion. As a part of that deal, we were going to get Li Tie on a one year loan., but a last minite problem with his club meant that the deal was switched at the last minute. David Moyes was told about this only monent before Weifeng was unveiled wearing an Everton strip at a press conferance in China.
And who says business is boring?
As it happen David Moyes isn't too disapointed with this deal, although he is still chasing Li Tie in a separate deal. Weifeng has gained 65 caps for his nation, quite some feat for a man of 24, and there is no question as to his quality. The deal is also costing Everton very little (it's part of the sponsorship package) so we can't really lose. Joy.
