Council pushes groundshare option

Liverpool have applied for a large new stadium in the city, but the noices coming from the local authoprity suggest that, whilst they may approve Liverpool's plan, they don't want to have to approve another huge ground when Everton come to apply again in a few years time.

Their solution to this seems a sensible one, a ground share. This option has obvious advantages, but will the supporters accept it?

It will take time, but, at the risk of pissing a few people off, i'll say that i think it will, and should happen.

"It is important that all the options are carefully and thoroughly examined. That must include the ground sharing option" - Liverpool council chief David Henshaw said.

We'll see what happens, but at the end of the day, it's the council who decide who builds what and when.
