Everton enjoying Spanish training

The training break has included a game against Spanish second division side Jerez, in which Lee Carsley and Mark Pembridge both played for the first time in some weeks.

Moyes said: "We organised the game at our base in Andalucia to give the boys a break from training

"The lads who haven't been involved much recently, players like Mark Pembridge and Lee Carsley, needed the game and it helped to break things up a bit." He added: "It's been a good week so far. The weather's fantastic, the training pitches are perfect and I think the lads are benefiting from the change of scenery."
