Everton had been charged with failing to control their players, a charge they denied. Micheal Dunford of Everton said: "We had a fair hearing and while we are disappointed with the outcome, we have to accept it."

A Fulham statement read: "The FA decided a breach of the FA rules had taken place at the fixture and that the club's players had behaved in a disorderly manner on the pitch."

Fulham were fined more, £30,000 to be exact.
