Everton in for Liverpool defender

The French player has yet to play for the Reds this season due to injury, and he is keen to either be told he will play reguarly or be allowed to leave.

"Djimi wants to be playing regularly, but the problem is that Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez has not seen him play because he is injured," The player's agent Willie McKay said.

"The transfer deadline is coming up and Djimi wants Liverpool to decide whether or not they want to keep him."

Everton are also being linked to Liverpool right back Steve Finnan.
