Family of dead fan speak out

Mr Murphey, a life long Evertonian and season ticket holder, was killed by a piece of flying timber shortly before the game against Leicster on Saturday. I walked up the same road where he was killed only minutes beforehand, a sobering thought.

Mr Murphy's brother, John, 23, said: "Bernard was a real gentleman. I have never met anybody who has so many friends. He could not walk down the street without bumping into someone he knew. He was a fantastic father to his son John."
