Knees

The good news is that he hasn't knackered his cruciate and so it's not going to be something daft like nine months and a trip to Dr Steadman!

Speaking of Dr Steadman, one of his recent patients, James Vaughan, looks like he's well on the road to recovery after scoring for England's under 19's last night.

Vaughan
came off the bench to head a last minute winner as England beat Switzerland 3-2 at Crewe's Gresty Road ground.

And, whilst we're on the subject of England (more dodgy links than Kev ‘Seedy' Seed here!), Andy Johnson will start alongside the fat lad as our national team goes head to head with Holland tonight.

So, we'll have to wait and see how long it takes the pundits to turn his habit of ‘going down easily' (no matter how many times I write that it sounds like something else entirely!) into a legitimate penalty appeal.

“If he feels contact in the box then he's every right to go down, what do you think Alan?”

Quite!
