Blomqvist had played for Sweden before his injury.

Blomqvist came back this season from a two year lay off and has impressed many at Goodison with his play and his attitude. However he failed to prove to the Swedish management team that he was fully match fit.

However, Tobias Linderoth and Nick Alexandersson are both on thier was top Asia this summer. Maybe this will convince David Moyes to actually give Linderoth a decent chance to prove himself in the Everton team.
