Man of month Leon Osman rues Everton FC results

Leon Osman reckons Everton?s recent results have not done their form justice ? as the midfielder was named the Blues? player of the month for November.

The newly-capped England international was an ever-present as his club racked up a win and three draws from five games last month.

He said: ?To win something like this is very pleasing and with us having a reasonably good season so far, it?s extra special to be recognised within that.

?I think our form was better than the results suggested. We?ve been playing some pretty good stuff at times, stuff that?s really nice on the eye. We just haven?t always been getting the results that we want.? Osman was thrilled to get his long-awaited international break, being one of just five men to play the entire game in Sweden as Roy Hodgson?s experimental side were powerless to halt the hosts? four-goal hero Zlatan Ibrahimovic. ?It was great,? he added. ?It?s something you strive to achieve your whole career and I managed to get an England cap.

I?m delighted.? Tickets for Everton?s two home matches over the festive season are selling quickly and supporters are urged to secure their seats as soon as possible. David Moyes? side will host Wigan Athletic on Boxing Day, followed by a visit from Chelsea to Goodison Park on Sunday December 30.

Wigan have not taken their full allocation of tickets meaning seats in the Upper Bullens have now been made available to home fans. Supporters can buy tickets from the Park End Box Office, or the city centre sales points in Everton Two and TicketQuarter in Queen Square; by calling 0871 663 1878; by visiting evertonfc.com/eticketing (with the option to collect tickets from Goodison before the game).

Evertonians can also take advantage of the club?s recently-launched Print at Home facility to purchase tickets in the Top Balcony, Main Stand, Upper Bullens, Lower Bullens, Park End or Paddock.
