"I haven't played a competitive game since the twenty fourth of October so my match fitness needs sharpening, but I have been at a training camp for the last month and a half so my general fitness isn't a problem," said McBride.
"I don't know if I will go into the team straight away but of course I would be up for it if I am included. I've gone straight into games before after being out injured for a while so the fact that I haven't been involved for a couple of months certainly won't worry me I am here to help Everton in whatever way they want."
