Moore says goodbye to Everton.

The 31 year old American has had his contract at Goodison Park teminated by mutual consent last week and will shortly return to a playing career in his native USA.

"I have enjoyed my time at Everton. It has been a wonderful experience. I will miss everyone connected with the club because they all made me feel so welcome and I have made some great friends whilst I've been in England." Said Moore

"The supporters, too, have been great to me. The Evertonians are a special bunch and they never gave me anything less than 100% backing. I'm just glad that I had the odd opportunity to repay them with a few goals. The team is in a great position right now and I'm sure that David Moyes can take it from strength to strength. I will certainly be keeping in touch with the team's fortunes when I am back in the States."
