Moyes promises more attacking football

He said: "I want to win. The supporters here want to win and that doesn't just mean the Fulham game, or the rest of the games this season. I'm not concerned about the supposed pressure on me.

"I want the players to know what it's like to win a game again, I want the supporters to have that same feeling. I think people who know me realise we will be trying to play a brand of football which the spectators will enjoy as well but, when it comes down to it, winning is the thing I want to do.

"If you look at our current squad on paper, you would probably say it's as good as the majority of those in the Premiership. What we've got here, I should be able to work with. It's my job to get them back on track. I know it's been a difficult period for everybody, the players, and the directors as well, so the quicker I get things going, get some wins under our belts, the sooner everyone will feel much better.

"The main thing for me to do now is to ensure we stay in the Premiership. It won't be easy. I've no illusions about the task ahead of me but I'm very positive and have great belief in what can be achieved here. Obviously I'd rather have the pressure at the top end of the table and hopefully before long that's where we will be."
