Moyes thinks we dropped points against Villa

Everton missed some good chances in the game that finished 1-1, and it shows the ambition and expectation that currently surrounds the club that we are dissapointed not to beat a side like Villa.

Moyes said: “We should have had three points from the game and I wish we could have got them! We kept trying to get the goal that would have won the game, but it just didn’t come.

“I think we had about six or seven really good chances and we should have done enough to squeeze out the victory.

“We are up there in third now and I am trying to keep the pressure off the players by keeping them relaxed because we are just happy to be getting points in the bag at this stage.

“But it shows how far we have come because they are all sat in the dressing room feeling very disappointed about their failure to get all three points.”
