Naysmith/Osman put pen to paper

Although Alan Stubbs, Alessandro Pistone and Steve Watson have not renewed their deals, it looks unlikely that they ever will.

Osman's 4 year deal sees him commit his future to the club, and is also a serious display faith in his ability by David Moyes. Questions have been asked about Osman's ability to handle the physical nature of the Premiership, but the Everton management clearly have no such concerns.

He said: "I never wanted to leave Everton. I had a great season and just want to try and carry that form forward into what is going to be a huge year for the club. There were other offers on the table, but it would have to be a pretty special club coming in for me that would make me give up what I have got here."

Gary Naysmith has also signed a 3 year deal. The 26 year old defender has already been at Goodison for 4 and a half years, making him one of the club's longest serving players.
