Ruddy returns

He played five games for the Red Dragons and kept one clean sheet, against local rivals Chester City.

He conceded nine goals as Wrexham, who are pretty wretched at the minute, lost three and drew one of the other four games he played.

But Wrexham's manager, Brian Carey, wouldn't exactly commit as to why Ruddy was sent back when he was keen to stay.

He cited the return of first choice 'keeper Mike Ingham as the main reason but he didn't exactly give the young stopper a glowing reference when he said: "Ruddy wanted to stay for another month, but we have decided to send him back.

Carey added: "It wasn't a case of Everton calling him back and it wasn't a money issue."

So was it more of an ability issue or what?!
