After Saturday's 1-1 drawn match with Aston Villa, Marcus Bent again on the scoreline, the Blues Now move on to their biggest test of the season with a match against second placed Chelsea Who are just back from another Champions League away win and qualification for the next phase in the competition.

Make no mistake this will be a very hard match indeed, one which I am dreading in fact despite the Toffee's great start to the season. Not that I am running Scared of the Mourinho machine, I respect the Chelsea coach and the way that he has brought in and gelled some of these players and getting them all playing in this way is quite remarkable. I am sure that David Moyes would like some of his money to spend on his squad, maybe even one or two of his players,Cole,Parker or Lampard!

I think that this is the game of the weekend and I just hope that come the final whistle The margin will be that bit tighter between ourselves and Chelsea and we can again prove the doubters wrong. Its The Superstars v The Hard working players it should be a great Match.

So far in Europe this week, things have gone well for the British teams. As I said Chelsea won 1-0 away to CSKA,Man Utd won 4-1,Arsenal drew 1-1,Liverpool won 1-0 and Celtic also kept their European dream alive also winning 1-0 tonight it is the turn of Hearts, under new Manager John Robertson,Middlesbrough and Newcastle so good luck to
all three.

The big news in Scotland this week was Berti Vogts leaving his post as Scotland Manager after two years in charge of the Country. On leaving Berti took a swipe at the media for giving him a hard time during his tender in charge and also slating the supporters Who spat at him and forced him to take the decision to quit.

Unfortunately it was the results and sure failure to qualify for major tournaments that has ended Berti's time in charge of Scotland,it is a shame and I do feel sorry for Berti but it looks now that former Everton boss Walter
Smith is favourite to take over,if this is true I wish him all the best and can he find out if Ruud Van Nistelrooy,Kevin Kibane,Louis Figo,Ronaldinho and many others have Scottish cousins?

Only other Everton news I have is that Norwegian defender Brede Hangeland could be moving to Goodison Park in a two million pounds deal during the January window, lets hope so.

I would like to find out who the biggest signing in the club's history is ??? See ITV page 508 for details, I know the lads will!

Good Luck for Saturday!
