Season tickets

The cheapest adult season ticket is a reasonable £399 and that will buy you a seat in the family enclosure.

The only downside to this deal is that you may well have an obstructed view, not due to any of the Gooidson structure getting in the way but more likely that you'll be stuck behind a jester hat or a Fellaini wig for the entire match.

Or you might even get stuck behind the start of a cartoon-like speech bubble as some unfortunates did during the game against the Villa...

The cheapest junior price is just £149, so if you have a good shave and put the seat really low down in the photo booth then it might be worth your while applying for one of these.

You might also want to get your mum to lick your hair down for you, as Alan Smith was clearly doing at the start of the season...

Anyway, to take advantage of Everton's price-cutting craziness you have to have your season ticket applications in by 18th April...which is six days after Easter seeing as no one is asking.

Robert Elstone, now the club's fully paid-up CEO, had something to say on all this: "Pricing our Season Tickets is one of the key challenges we face, juggling the need to generate increased revenues with the requirement to maintain a genuine, 'value for money' deal and this year has been particularly tough considering the economic conditions we have all been subject to in recent months."

The slightly John Collins-faced CEO added: He added: "Key to the 2009/10 Season Ticket campaign is the savings we have been able to offer in the Family Enclosure. We have recognised the need to offer affordable access to our younger supporters and we believe a Season Ticket offering Premier League football for less than £8 per game is outstanding value."

And if you want a full run down on the prices for next season - they'll probably lob 2010/11's prices on there soon too - look no further than here...
