The first leg will be played at Goodison on Tuesday February 16 with the return leg in Lisbon being held a week later on Thursday February 25.
Not sure why the first leg is on a Tuesday but there you go!
After the pasting we got last time we were in Lisbon this looks to be a daunting task, but Sporting aren't having the best of seasons as they currently lie seventh in the Portuguese Liga, 12 points off leaders Sporting Braga and second placed Benfica and three points off the European spots.
That said, one look at our league position and they're hardly going to be shaking like Michael J Fox at the thought of coming to Goodison!
By time the games come around though our team will, hopefully, be getting back to some sort of recognisable line-up and we won't re-live our Stadium of Light nightmare!
And it'll give us a chance to see if that Moutinho fella s actually any good...nailed on he'll tear the arse off us!
But the best news is that, should we get past Sporting, then it's either Atletico Madrid or Galatasaray in the next round!
