Stubbs may yet keep his place.

Stubbs had replaced David Weir in Everton's back line after the Scottish International got suspended last month, but it had looked as if Weir would be on his way back.

Stubbs had picked up a groin strain and was amajor doubt for the game against Blackburn on Sunday afternoon. However, some hard work by Stubbs and the Everton medical team have put him in the frame, and he may well be fit to play.
