Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin limped off with a hamstring injury during the 5-4 victory over Tottenham Hotspur in the FA Cup fifth round.
The England international was in electric form during the game, bagging one goal and two assists in the first half, but he managed just ten minutes after the break before signalling to the bench that he needed to come off.
Calvert-Lewin missed two games with a hamstring injury back in January, and Everton assistant Duncan Ferguson admitted there are fears he could be set for another spell on the sidelines with a similar issue.
"He was complaining about his hamstring when he came off the pitch," Ferguson said (via The Sun). "We've not got an assessment but it does look like a wee bit of a hamstring tweak.
“It could be a wee bit of trouble for him. We're not quite sure of the extent yet.
"Dom is our main striker and he scored another good goal tonight. We will miss him if he's not going to play but the boys showed good spirit when he went off the pitch and scored two goals."
Calvert-Lewin has been in excellent form for Everton this season, racking up 18 goals and four assists in 25 appearances in all competitions.

His 13 Premier League strikes have him tied for second in the league's scoring charts, behind only Liverpool's Mohamed Salah. Not only is he crucial for Carlo Ancelotti's side, but he's also popular choice in fantasy football.
At a fraction of the price of strikers like Harry Kane and Sergio Aguero, Calvert-Lewin is a tough one to replace, but fortunately for managers all around the country, there are plenty of cut-price strikers strutting their stuff this season.
Leeds hitman Patrick Bamford is in the form of his life, while Aston Villa's Ollie Watkins, Newcastle's Callum Wilson and Southampton's Danny Ings should all be considered if you find yourself needing to replace Calvert-Lewin.
