The votes are in...

As expected, it was a pretty close-run thing, but 59 pr cent of voters agreed to the move out of the city.

The most disappointing thing was that, although 36,000 people were allegedly elligable to vote, only 26,000 returned their forms.

15,230 of those were in favour of the move with just 10,468 voting against.

So just why did 11,000 fans not cast their vote? Couldn't decide? Or sheer apathy? We will never know.

There will still be a lot of dissenting voices but, the fact is, the club have allowed the fans to have their say and, the majority of those that wanted their voices heard, have voted in favour.

So like it or not, we all just have to grin, bear it and get behind the Blues.

Wherever they play!
