David Unsworth has spoken of the mood inside the Everton camp after two wins in two games. He said: "We don't half make life difficult for ourselves. We did it last week and we have done it again this week, but the lads showed great character and we hung on at the end.

"We'd have obviously taken any win before (the game against derby), we never expected a seven goal thriller, but a win is a win and we are on 36 points now, and while we know we have still got a job to do because we are not safe yet we have enjoyed this win."

Unsworth is enjoying his scoring streak, "Its great to be on the scoresheet again. It was a similar goal to last week, I caught it well again. I seem to be popping up in the right place at the right time. We have played better football and lost this season, but it is a vital win for us and now we look forward to going to Newcastle on Friday. When the new gaffer came we had nine cup finals, we've won two of them, and have seven to go but we can't enjoy anything until we are safe."
