Wright has been out for some time with an arm injury, but has since regained match fitness, and played for the reserves on Wednesday night.
David Moyes said: "Richard got a game under his belt on Wednesday but Paul Gerrard did okay last Saturday. No-one is an automatic choice here."
"We will select who we think is the best choice for this particular game."
