So presumably Man City have told us to frig off and they don't want him back!
In a conversation that probably went nothing like this:
Bill Kenwright: "Right Garry, it's January, how do you want us to send Jo back to you? Special delivery or will recorded do?"
Garry Cook: "What you on about Bill?"
BK: "It's January, new transfer window and Jo's loan spell has ended so when can we send him back?"
GC: "You can send him back in fucking summer like we agreed! You've got the lazy get for a year!"
BK: "......"
GC: "Hello? Hello? Bill? you there?"
BK: "..."
GC: "Helloooo? Hello?!"
BK: "....Lescott's a prick!" [puts phone down]
For anyone that missed it, and I can't even imagine how long it took everyone at the club to realise that he wasn't there, Jo went on an unscheduled trip back to Brazil for Christmas which meant he missed the festive schedule when we were already down to the bare bones up front.
Moyes subsequently suspended and fined him but has now revealed that he will return to training on Monday.
This means that he won't be given the chance to throw himself around the Emirates on Saturday and, hopefully, James Vaughan will give the Arsenal defence something to worry about.
Like if they'll be able to get their cars out of the car park after the game because, let's face it, they're hardly going to be worried by our brand of incisive football!
