Jimmy Jimmy

Apparently, Alex Mcleish, Birmingham's Fraggle-faced manager, has upped his bid by a massive £500,000 and, after rebuffing their inital bid of £2.5 million, Everton have, unsurprisingly, rejected their offer of £3 million for the enigmatic forward.

But the writing does appear to be on the wall for McFadden and large sections of the crowd appeared to finally lose patience with him after his lethargic dispaly on Saturday.

The quickest he moved all day was when he ran off the pitch to be substitued...and have you ever seen a player want to get off the field of play so quickly?!

It's a shame that is hasn't worked out for him though as he has showed flashes of inspiration for the Blues and has scored some good, not to mention vital, goals.

But, judging by Birmimgham's insistence on upping their bids ever so slightly, it's clear that this is going to be one of those transfers that, whilst inevitable, will just drag on and on!

And it's nailed on that he'll be holding a St Andrew's flag at St Andrew's at about half four in the afternoon of January 31st!
