Lars attacks

The headline probably would have fitted better had the Danish international launched a scathing attack on Everton or David Moyes or even Tony Hibbert, but the player has not made comment on the switch.

There's always time though.

It would be a bit churlish of Jacobsen to blame anyone else but himself for his lack of first team opportunities as a severe shoulder injury kept him out of the reckoning for the best part of the season.

He made just five appearances for the Blues but did pick up an FA Cup Runners up medal following his substitute appearance in the final...which is more than most can claim!

In other transfer news, David Moyes is looking to add to his collection of promising young goalkeepers with Peterborough United's Joe Lewis.

The player, who it's hard to picture as wearing anything else other than a massive pair of Everlast shorts and big, black boxing gloves, has been attracting attention from a host of Premier League clubs, has been linked with a £2 million move to the Blues.

A claim that has been rebuked by Posh boss Barry Fry who said: "I have had no conversation with Everton or any club about Joe, which is a surprise because he is forever being linked with Premier League teams."

Fry add: "He's certainly good enough to play at that level, but there is no question of us wanting to sell him."

And quite why we'd want to spend £2 million on another 'keeper is beyond me!

And, depending on what rumours you don't believe, we're selling Joleon Lescott to Man City for £20 million; for £17 million plus Jo; or for £10 million plus Micah Richards.

All bollocks...carry on!
