Mucha libre

The 27-year-old is Slovakia's first choice goalkeeper and is currently picking the ball out of the net at (crack) Polish side Legia Warsaw.

His contract expires in the summer and Everton have have sorted out one of those pre-contractual agreements that will see him join up with the Blues once Slovakia return from the World Cup.

But, as anyone at Leeds will tell you, these pre-contractual agreements aren't worth the paper they're written on.

It does seem like a strange move for both parties though as can anyone see Tim Howard being deposed as Everton's first choice 'keeper?

It's all very well for youngsters like John Ruddy and Iain Turner (though he's 26 himself now!)  to bide their time and wait for their chance but will an international 'keeper really be content with bench-warming?

And though Carlo Nash is not getting any younger he's done the rounds and is just living the dream of playing for his boyhood team!

Though, should we sign Mucha the writing could be on the garage door for Carlo's Everton career.

You may also have heard that Jo has gone on loan for the rest of the season to Galatasaray.

No-one's too concerned about this as he's been woeful this term but it does look like the Turkish team are stockpiling Everton players for the potential meeting of the two teams in the next leg of the Europa League.

Can you imagine Jo having the game of his life and netting against us?

No, nor can I!

And in other transfer news...I promise I've nearly finished...Everton have taken MTK Hungaria midfielder Andras Gosztonyi on loan for a week.

So which was the more underwhelming? The Hungarian trialist of Jo leaving?

Thought so...
