Everton place £750,000 price tag on Gerrard

Gerrard is being Richard Wright and Steve Simsonsen in the Goodison pecking order, and it is no secret that we wants first team football. The loan spell at Ipswitch currently has no option for extension, but there is the possibility of a move when the transfer window opens in January.

Gerrard's current contract runs until 2004.
