Everton setup double signings.

If both deals go through Everton will have signed almost as many players as any other team in the league. Wright only has to pass a medical before he signs for £5m today, and Rodrigo will join us on a 12 month load deal, costing the blues just over £1m. As will all loan deals we have the option to sign him on a more permanent basis at any time.

Rodrigo is mainly a striker, but can also play as an attacking midfielder, a position David Moyes has highlighted as being lacking in the current Everton squad.

"Obviosuly there is a little bit of a gamble bringing someone in from a different continent, who plays a different style of football but he showed us enough in bits of the game at Shrewsbury to suggest that, if we can get a deal sorted out, we would like to bring him here." Said Moyes

"We will bring him here on-loan, like we have with other deals, and if these players show up then hopefully we will take them at the end of that time."

These two deals are almost certain to end Everton's buying period, the club start thier pre-season tour of Scotland soon add will want the full squad to spend as much time together as possible.
