Everton stage Ferguson swoop - with some players in the mix

Everton have confirmed that they have made an offer, thought to be around the £6m mark. Now, we know that we don't have anywhere near that amount of cash floating about so something more complex must be going on.

My guess (and that's all it is) is this. The offer is around £4m cash, but not all at once, plus Thomas Gravesen (he is the only player they would be interested in, and is worth around £2.5m) and Duncan Ferguson. I include Ferguson only because Everton are desparate to get shot of him, and Rangers will be able to please their fans by bringing him back.

So there you go. Personally, I can't see it happening, but we live in hope.
