"With a new manager coming in, I have still got to try and get into his team," said Naysmith.
"It might be different if Walter Smith was still here because I had got into his team and established myself.
"But it is exactly like starting all over again and it is the same with Scotland.
"When I eventually get to that stage, it will be the same again because I have to try and get into a new manager's team.
"I was told he (Berti Vogts) was just at Dunfermline to have a look because it was his first chance.
