Walter Smith shocked the football world today by saying that he is happy that Kevin Campbell and Duncan Ferguson are back from injury.

The Blues boss said: "We are pleased to get them out on the field playing the full 90 minutes, because that is what they need more than anything else.
"They need to be playing games, and they have both missed a major part of the season so far, and it will take them a few weeks to get their sharpness back again, and that's what they'll have to do. Both of them completing 90 minutes was a big plus for us."

Smith confirmed that Jesper Blomqvist had been pulled out of the squad after picking up an ankle injury in training on Friday.

And the Everton chief said of the Swede: "He should be OK for next week. After a few weeks of playing again he is feeling his ankle, he's got a slight strain.
"It's something that happens, he got a little knock in training, it's a little painful, and the break he had from playing on Saturday will probably do him the world of good."

Its a slow news day. Can you tell ?
