David Moyes' Toffees then host newly-promoted Queens Park Rangers before completing August's fixtures with an away day at Blackburn.
The first Merseyside derby of the season comes on October 1 as Everton welcome Liverpool to Goodison Park, while the reverse fixture at Anfield is on February 25.
Over the festive period Everton travel to Sunderland on Boxing Day, before playing Sunderland at the Stadium of Light on New Year's Eve.
Champions Manchester United are in town on October 29, while Everton travel to Old Trafford on April 21.
