To-Knee Hibbert

So the reason for that dreadful headline is that Tony Hibbert has had a scan to assess the extent of the knee injury he picked up against Liverpool.

The good news is that the scan has revealed that there appears to be no more damage other than some bad bruising so, given our enforced rest this weekend due to general FA Cup ineptness, he should be available for the Sheffield United match.

The bad news is that he hasn't also picked up a foot injury as the headline could then have read: 'Toe-Knee Hibbert'.

Hopefully our now irregular right back can reamin injury free for the rest of the season, if only for the sake of the people in the Bullens who are becoming noticabely more nervous with each ball that Phil Neville slices up the by-line.
